Qualifying Examination
- Ph.D. Students who taking the qualifying examination must have the following qualifications:
- Ph.D. Students must register for complete courses according to the curriculum, excluding thesis and receive a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of not less than 3.0.
- Ph.D. Students must pass an assessment from the program director that it is appropriate to take the qualifying examination.
- Ph.D. Students expecting to take the QE must submit the QE form through the thesis advisor and the program director. The QE form will approve by the Dean and the Dean of the Graduate School, respectively.
- Ph.D. Students who fail the first QE have the right to retake the QE no more than one time.
Note
* Ph.D. Students who are eligible to apply for the thesis proposal examination must pass the QE.
** Ph.D. Students must take the thesis outline examination within one academic year from passing the QE.
Additional requirements from the department of Information Technology for the QE
Ph.D. Students must have a draft of article that ready to be submitted to an international journal or international conference.
การสอบวัดคุณสมบัติ
- นิสิตที่สอบวัดคุณสมบัติต้องมีคุณสมบัติต่อไปนี้
- ลงทะเบียนรายวิชาครบตามหลักสูตร โดยไม่นับรายวิชาวิทยานิพนธ์และได้ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมนับถึงภาคการศึกษาที่ผ่านมา ไม่น้อยกว่า 3.0
- ผ่านการประเมินจากประธานหลักสูตรว่าสมควรเข้าสอบวัดคุณสมบัติได้
- นิสิตที่ประสงค์จะสอบวัดคุณสมบัติ ต้องยื่นคำร้องขอสอบโดยผ่านอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์และประธานหลักสูตรเพื่อให้คณบดีบัณฑิตวิทยาลัยอนุมัติ
- นิสิตที่สอบวัดคุณสมบัติครั้งแรกไม่ผ่าน มีสิทธิ์ที่จะสอบใหม่ได้อีกไม่เกิน 1 ครั้ง
*นิสิตที่มีสิทธิขอสอบวิทยานิพนธ์ ต้องสอบผ่านการสอบวัดคุณสมบัติ
*นิสิตต้องสอบเค้าโครงวิทยานิพนธ์ ภายใน 1 ปีการศึกษา นับแต่ผ่านการสอบวัดคุณสมบัติ
ข้อกำหนดเพิ่มเติมของหลักสูตรในการสอบวัดคุณสมบัติ
- นิสิตต้องมีบทความต้นฉบับที่พร้อมจะส่งไปยังวารสารวิชาการระดับนานาชาติหรือการประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ
